Thursday – Confirmation Camp 2012

Well (Amy) its coming down to our last days and were all having a good time. Today i really enjoyed canoe race and my team won which had all three of us me, Nate, And Shannon. I’m really having a nice time here. We also finished prank wars which kept us all up till about 2:30 a.m. We all had good pranks.Today at r and r (Nate)some of the kids were playing a card game and some of them were funny of what happen some times.  Also at lunch we all had hot dogs or corn dogs. Right now (Shannon) while doing this blog we are making Melty Beads. I am making a turtle, Amy is making a fish, and Nate is making a Bow and Arrow. Our bible study today was God is the least of these.

The weather has held out once again!  It has been a beautiful day!  The campers got to swim in the pool this morning as well as canoe this afternoon!  In addition to the choice of hot dogs or corn dogs for lunch, today was the peanut butter and jelly jam!  For those of you who have never had the joy of such an experience, the spread is across two large round tables.  The first table has the bread and the peanut butter, but the second table is the magical table!  There are jars of jelly and bottles of caramel sauce and chocolate sauce, and then there is a vast spread of bowls.  The bowls contain everything from marshmallow fluff to gummy bears to chocolate chips to coconut to bananas!  Who even knew there was strawberry fluff!?!?  It was quite the experience!  The only rule is whatever monster you make, you must consume!  It was a huge hit with all of the campers.  -Pastor Chip and Hilary
