Monday – Confirmation Camp 2012

Today was fun we learned a lot about snakes because there was one near the lake and they killed it for scientific use. Later on we cut the snake open and there was a 8 inch cat fish in the snake. We also measured the snake to be about 4 feet 10 inches which is almost as tall as me ( Amy ). Also we all went to the pool and did a swim test and every one passed. At the pool I ( Nate ) saw a scorpion and I was so scared. For bible study the theme was we are all God’s soil. Basically we are the soil and Gods word are the seeds, if we choose to accept the word then we are the good soil not rocky, thorny, or dry soil(Shannon).

The weather has been rainy, but this morning for a few hours it was sunny!  All of the campers were able to go swimming in the pool this morning, which was great!  The counselors have been great about adapting to the weather and have kept the campers busy, spirits have been high despite the rain!  Though there has been a great deal of rain, it is answered prayer as the lake has been quite low–making the rain much needed!  The food has been delicious…so far the favorites have been: Amy-salad, Nate-brownies (Nate says ‘tell my mom tacos were my favorite’), Shannon-nachos, Pastor Chip-oatmeal, and Hilary-brownies.  Amy has moved from the top bunk to the bottom because climbing the ladder with a suitcase at the bottom has proven to be difficult–Pastor Chip did ask her to check the floor and make sure it was ok!  :)  Nate’s counselor is John, and Nate says he is awesome.  Shannon and Amy’s counselor is Amanda, and the girls say she is VERY funny!  We will continue to update you daily as to our happenings!  We will try to post some photos tomorrow.  -Hilary and Pastor Chip

  1. But there are other ways a student of English can learn the language online.
Write this on the board every day for the first two weeks: ‘ I am ‘ You are ‘ He is ‘ She is ‘ It is ‘ We are
‘ They are. According to time you will observe, after doing exercises from various websites you grammatical skill has developed a lot.
